Medical aids

The practice is contracted with most major medical aids and will apply for prescribed minimum benefits where applicable. Accounts are submitted directly to your medical aid. Please confirm whether your plan requires a referral or authorisation.

Patient responsibility

You remain responsible for any amount not paid by your medical aid. Private fees follow applicable psychiatry costing guidance; contact the practice to confirm current rates.

Additional work

Prescriptions, medical motivations, chronic-medication forms, reports and similar work completed outside consultation time may incur an additional fee.

Cancellations

Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, because the reserved clinical time cannot usually be offered to another patient at short notice.
