When your body moves, your brain responds. Exercise influences neural, vascular, metabolic and chemical processes throughout the brain and body. Some effects can occur after a single session; others develop through repetition.
Understand the pillar

Regular movement gives the brain and body a reason to adapt. Exercise can support brain health, memory, attention, executive function and many of the physical systems on which the brain depends.
Exercise can reduce symptoms of depression and can be an important part of comprehensive care. Walking or jogging, strength training, yoga and other forms of exercise have all shown benefit.
Walk, cycle, swim, dance, lift, play a sport or spend active time outdoors. Choose something safe, accessible and realistic enough to repeat.
Build the practice
Build aerobic activity gradually.
Include strength work suited to your body and experience.
Break up long periods of sitting with everyday movement.
Get outside when you can; outdoor activity and nature exposure can support wellbeing.
Choose consistency over one perfect workout.

Start where you are. Choose movement you can do safely, make the first step small enough to complete, and repeat it before adding more. MOVE → ADAPT → BUILD.
Don't aim for perfection. Aim upward.
